Acorath is a full-brother of the successful international show jumper Argentina 65 (Norbert Nuxoll resp. Otto Becker), who was the top lot of the Oldenburg auction in Vechta in the spring of 1991. Three further full-siblings Ammerlandstern J, Alexis Sorbas and Anyway 39 were or resp. are successful up to intermediate-A class. The sire Argentinus is considered as one of the wizards of international horse breeding. His progeny are successful at the highest levels in all categories of the equestrian sport. The dam Soraja is a full-sister of the sire Spitzbube (private stallion Hanover, Bavaria). There are heroes of Hanoverian performance horse breeding on the dam's side of the pedigree via the tough esteemed thoroughbred Sudan xx and the memorable multiple hereditary transmitter Grande, who had a decisive influence on Acorath. The dam line has its origins in the vicinity of the Hanoverian covering station of Achim and is based on the foundation mare Freilia (by Freiligrath-Alkali I et al). This line also produced inter alia, the stallions Baltengraf (private stallion South Africa), his half-brother Dunhill (private stallion Bavaria, international dressage successes), Joachim ( Celle state stallion) and Walzer (private stallion Westphalia).
Acorath absolved his 30 day test in Vechta in 2000 with significantly above average results. Following that, he completed his 70 day test in Neustadt/Dosse. His competition sports career is planned as of 2003.
Acorath's first batch of foals produced foals that were without exception awarded the foal premium.
