FAQ

What are the rimondo rankings?

The rimondo Rankings are the only rankings in which all show riders in Germany and Switzerland are represented. In addition to rankings for the various levels, there are separate rankings for young horses and ponies.

How do the rankings work?

With each show start, points are collected. The number of points is determined by the difficulty of the competition, the placing achieved and the size of the starting field. The points collected are summed and result in the individual ranking. Only national competitions of the respective level are considered. In the rankings for young horses only horses of the respective birth year are considered. The pony ranking includes competitions of every level. However, ponies also participate in the level-specific rankings.

How does the rating system work?

The ranking in the rimondo Rankings is based on our own scoring system: the rimondo Performance Score (RPS). This allows us not only to take into account the level of the competition and your performance, but also the size of the starting field. In this way we can create the most sporting and fairest rankings of all time.

More information about the rimondo Performance Score (RPS) can be found here.

Which show events form the basis for the rankings?

The basis of the rankings is the national LPO show results entered on rimondo.com. Is a result or show missing from your rimondo profile? Please contact us at [email protected]

What categories are there in the ranking?

The rimondo Rankings are available for dressage and jumping from A to S. Additionally, there are separate rankings in dressage for 3- to 7-year-old young horses and in jumping for 5- to 7-year-old young horses. For ponies there is a level-independent ranking in which ponies only compete among themselves.

For Swiss show riders there are also rankings in dressage and jumping from A- to S-level.

Who participates in the ranking?

No registration is required to participate in the rimondo Rankings. Any rider who has competed in Germany or Switzerland in a national dressage or show jumping competition at A- to S-level is automatically included in the ranking.

Which time period is considered in the rankings?

The rimondo Rankings are the only live rankings for show sport in Germany and Switzerland and are updated hourly. All show results that you achieve in national dressage or jumping competitions in the period 01.10.2025 to 30.09.2026 are almost immediately reflected in the ranking.
