Distelzar, an impressive Trakehner stallion from the 1998 cohort, has made a name for himself both in sport and breeding. Under the rider Maike Lühring, he showcased his talent in the dressage horse competition at level L, achieving a victory right away.

In breeding, Distelzar has produced over 80 offspring, including numerous licensed stallions. Notably, Donauklang and Donaugold 2 stand out with their remarkable breeding successes. The awarded stallion Sir Picasso, who was honored as the 1st reserve champion stallion, further highlights the quality of his progeny.

Among the outstanding mares are the state premium mares Kara Bella and Herbstdiora, who are also successful in breeding. These offspring demonstrate Distelzar's exceptional genetic influence and his ability to produce both stallions and mares of high quality.
