Bei der Gothenburg Horse Show 2017 finden für Spring- und Dressurreiter der Westeuropaliga Qualifikationen zum FEI World Cup statt. In der Weltcup-Qualifikation geht es für die Springreiter im CSI5* um wichtige Punkte in der Weltcup-Saison 2016/2017, um noch das Ticket für das Weltcup-Finale in Omaha zu lösen. Auch die Dressurreiter haben die Chance, wertvolle Punkte für die Finalqualifikation zu sammeln.
