Which of your data will be processed by us and for what purposes?

We process the data you have sent us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the position (or possibly other open positions in our companies) and to carry out the application process.

On what legal basis is this based?

The legal basis for processing your personal data in this application procedure is primarily § 26 BDSG in the version applicable from 25.05.2018. According to this provision processing of data that are necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship is permissible. If the data may be required for legal enforcement after completion of the application process, processing may be carried out on the basis of the provisions of Art. 6 GDPR, in particular for the protection of legitimate interests under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest then lies in asserting or defending claims.

How long will the data be stored?

Data from applicants will be deleted in case of rejection after 6 months. If you have consented to further storage of your data, we will place your data in our applicant pool. There they will be deleted after two years. If you are offered a position as a result of the application process, the data from the applicant system will be transferred to our personnel information system.

To which recipients will the data be forwarded?

We use a specialized software provider for the application process. This provider acts as a service provider for us and may become aware of your personal data in connection with maintenance and care of the systems. We have concluded an order processing agreement with this provider to ensure that data processing is carried out lawfully. Your application data will be screened by the HR department after receipt. Suitable applications will be forwarded internally to the department managers responsible for the respective vacancy. The further procedure will then be coordinated. In the company, only those persons have access to your data who require it for the proper processing of our application procedure.

Where are the data processed?

The data are processed exclusively in data centers within the Federal Republic of Germany.

Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you.
For non-written requests for information, please understand that we may ask you to provide proof that you are who you claim to be.
