Sancerre is half sister to the Federal Champion in 2001, Wakajama (by Wolkentanz). Her half brother Wakahiro (by Wolkenstein II) was a top-priced horse at the Verden auction, and meanwhile, he won several M**-level dressage tests and placed at advanced level.<br />
Sancerre’s dam is full sister to the licensed stallion Prince Optimus who completed his stallion performance test in performance category I and who is successful up to advanced show jumping level. The granddam Maragonia delivered an advanced level dressage horse. She is full sister to the approved stallions Manjano I and II as well as half sister to the stallion Wattenkieker (by Wolkenstein II).<br />
The Champion of his stallion licensing Leibwächter I and his full brother Leibwächter II (by Lugano I), the approved brothers trio Almfreund I to III (by Almjäger), Feierabend (by Fafner II), Forsch I to V (by Feiner Kerl), Dorado I and II (by Doemitz I), Senior (by Senator), Fleuret (by Florentiner II), Grand Canyon (by Grannus) and the successful Grand Prix-stallion Falsterbo (by Fidermark) descend from this first-class Hanoverian dam line of Oböe (Döscher, Groden). The reserve DLG-Champion Mare of 1966, Silberinsel (by Senator) and her grandchild Gento 45 (by Golem, lifetime winnings in 2010: 57,843 Euro) who won advanced level jumper classes in a row, are also out of this foundation line.
