Cassitano, a Casado son, confirmed the outstanding impression that he made at the Holstein

licensing in 2008 where he proved to be the perfect image of a highly modern athlete with an irresistible

magnetism. His development under saddle since then has been spectacular.

His gaits are well transmitted and underline the significance of this young sire. Under his trainer, Philipp Landsrath, this Holstein stallion took the title in the class for three-year old riding horses at the State Championships. At his 30-day test in Neustadt/Dosse which he finished with an over-average performance, he took 5th place among the 32 competing stallions.

The full significance of his pedigree comes to play on the course. Here Cassitano is attentive in every phase. His pace is uniform and unhurried as well as powerful and his technique and ability are outstanding.

With the Cento half-brother, Casado, and the internationally successful Verband sires, Briscar and Carthago, he was bred for first class performance on the course. The dam's side of his pedigree continues back through Ladalco, Caracas and Waterman. The great granddam, Wonne VI, is also the dam of a well-known sire named Kilian who is by the Thoroughbred stallion, Königspark xx. The softly blooming Holstein line 2049 is also the origin of the half-Thoroughbred sire, Feuerbach, as well as Hermann Schridde's internationally successful show jumper, Ilona, who is the family mare that Cassitano goes directly back to.

On the maternal side he descends from Ladalco, Caracas and Waterman. His great-grandmother, Wonne VI and stallion Koninspark xx produced the well-known stallion Kilian. The Holstein line 2049 also produced the half-blooded stallion, Feuerback and the internationally known obstacle horse, Ilona, under the saddle of Herman Schridde.
Cassitano comes from the direct line of the mare Ilona. He has an interest in producing horses for the obstacle but he is also interesting for pure training as he has many qualities for this discipline: strength, flexibility of pace, energy, excellent character. He runs in competition up to Intermediate I level with Junior rider Eugénie Burban. We also recommend it for the production of complete horses"
