Jonathan (Jonathan 72)

Jonathan was licensed for the Verband der Pony- und Kleinpferdezüchter Hannover e.V. on 23 October 2004. He was awarded the grade ‘8’ for his lively, clear trot, excellent jumping ability and his exceptionally beautiful head. Our Jonathan was performance tested from 1 - 31 October 2007 at the stallion testing centre of the Lower Saxony State Stud in Celle, where he received a score of 7.26 (the comparative scores of the other stallions were 7.05 - 7.86) and the best score awarded for his driving ability of 8.6! As a preliminary score from the testing centre, the state driving trainer had even awarded a score of 9.0! Jonathan's first son Jarne was already classified as a premium foal in Saxony-Anhalt and was the only Fjord stallion foal invited to the foal championships of the Sachsen-Anhalt and Berlin-Brandenburg breeding association in Neustadt Dosse! Jonathan was born on 21st April 2002, his dam, the elite mare Greta, is a highly placed top mare from the Bindenberger family, Hessen, and already a two-time stallion dam (Hendryk by Hjesco). The dam's sire, Foss, is an elite stallion and impressed the experts years ago as a modern, rideable type. Foss was 38 years old when owned by Mrs Schwartz! Through her dam, the DLG champion mare and elite mare Gibsi (by Dorian), Greta goes directly back to the exceptional Hessian mare Gunilla, who founded the performance-orientated, successful Bindenberger breed! His sire, the premium stallion Hoptrup Jarl, left behind only highly rated offspring. His sire Orion Halsnaes was stallion of the year in Denmark. His son Stüv's Johann became the best colt of all PKS in Redefin on 27 June 2021. In type a 9, in conformation an 8.5 and in movement a 9. Johann has thus qualified for the Elite Foal Championships on 24 July 2021 in Groß Viegeln near Rostock! He became elite foal with 81 points. He was champion stallion at the Central German autumn licensing on 16/11/2024 at Radegast-Prussendorf stud.
