What is rimondo?

Through the unique linkages with your horses, pictures, videos, breeders and tournament results, rimondo offers you the possibility to share your enthusiasm for equestrian sports / riding with friends and acquaintances. At the same time, our philosophy is that each user should be allowed to / able to expand information on rimondo. All information which is employed is checked promptly by professionals (in terms of our quality requirements) and cleared or, as the case may by, deleted.
What does rimondo mean?
The name "rimondo" spells the main reason why enquestrian sport enthusiasts should come across rimondo: "riding". We feel that it is fresh and modern. As such, rimondo is open to all: all breeds, all types of sports, across borders.
Who is behind rimondo?
The idea for rimondo was jointly developed and implemented over the past couple of months by the Münster-based publisher in the field of agriculture/rural affairs "Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster GmbH", the software developer Mathias Dögel and Matthias Schulte-Huxel, who is experienced in the field of competitive equestrian sports and an IT expert. Through the journals "Pferdemarkt und Reiter", "Pferde in Westfalen" and the agricultural weekly, "landwirtschaftliche Wochenblatt Westfalen-Lippe", "Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster GmbH" has its roots in the field of horses and equestrian sports. last but not least, the company has proved that it does not lack a spirit of innovation as a result of the "Landlust" and tractor pool projects. Mathias Dögel, the developer, has already successfully developed and implemented the two dog portals working-dog.eu and universal-dog.eu. As a result of this, he has brought considerable experience and expertise to the rimondo team. In addition, Matthias Schulte-Huxel is experienced in the field of competitive equestrian sports and not only manages the online business, but also has a good sense for the needs of equestrian sports in general.
Over the last couple of months, the combination of these competences in the different areas has proven exceptionally fruitful. Consequently, rimondo will surely benefit from a range of other good ideas in the future.
Do I have to register?
Yes, you have to register yourself in order to be able to use rimondo fully. We want to avoid confidential user data being seen by unauthorised third parties. The registration process thus serves to protect your data. Personally, this is something that is very important for us.
What are the membership options are available?
Basic membership:
A user can register on rimondo known as Basic member. The basic membership is free and will always be free. For the basic membership, it is enough to fill out the quick registration form on the rimondo home page. After the quick registration you will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address, in which a link is included (you should not receive an e-mail, please also check the Spam folder). By clicking on this link you can confirm the registration, you will automatically rimondo Basic member and can use all the basic functions of rimondo free. Sure it will be helpful to supplement your own user profile, the better to come in contact with your friends and can increase your findability.
Pro membership:
Unless you take advantage of the exclusive additional features and information and the full scope of rimondo want, you can switch from the basic membership in a pro-membership. In this case you will be in the menu item "rimondo Pro" just passed through the conversion process. The pro membership differs from the basic membership due to the higher amount of information and additional functionality. What payment methods are available?
A payment is usually by direct debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). After completion of the pro-membership, the amount automatically drafted from your account or your credit card. In exceptional cases, a payment by bank transfer is possible. In this case, your Pro account after receipt of payment on our rimondo account is activated.
What are the notice periods are there?
With your pro membership is a subscription which is automatically extended by the period closed, either 6 or 12 months. How important are the topics "data protection" and "private sphere"?
Both topics are very important for us. Therefore, as a user, you can define the information you do and don't want to release to other rimondo users by means of a few simple clicks. Of course, these settings can be changed at any time. rimondo treats all user data on a strict confidential basis in accordance with European data protection directives and guarantees that it does not pass these on to third parties. For this reason, your profile data are only visible to all other rimondo users. If you are not logged into rimonto, you will realise yourself that you do not have access to your user profile. In the same way, third parties who are not registered cannot obtain your profile data. In addition to this basic protection, you can individually set your private sphere in rimondo in the "Profile settings" area. If you want to be found by lots of friends and acquaintances on rimondo, it is a good idea to keep the settings for the private sphere as open as possible.
What should I do if I have forgotten my user data.
If you have forgotten your rimondo password, you can simply click on the "Forgotten password" function in the log-in area of the start page. You will arrive at the input box for your e-mail address. By entering your e-mail address and clicking on the "send" button, an e-mail with a link will be sent to your inbox. This link will take you to a page where you can assign yourself a new password. Using this new password you can log yourself in directly.
